My entry for the :iconthe-black-mirage: contest.

I chose Wolfsbane as the character I would draw because of the colors (among other things <_< shifty eyes >_>). I love the purples pinks and reds so I wanted to play with that while offsetting the warm colors with a lot of greens and blues.

Since she likes dogs I added a dog statue and a dog in the stained glass window. This one was a lot of fun to work on.

Update: I have fixed the knee and did some general touch ups. Worked on the colors and textures too.

All textures from my own photography.

This is a perfect example of rule of thirds and how it gives the image more tension.

Thank you! The magic fog stuff was a last minute addition too, I never even planned to have the piece extend up far enough to see the window. Glad you like it! That makes it worth the effort.
